Aurora is committed to honouring the privacy of our members and visitors. This privacy policy, is part of our overall Terms of Service, covers personally identifiable information shared through Aurora's Services. All data is held in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998, United Kingdom. We do not sell our data to third parties. All reasonable and secure steps are taken to safeguard and protect our data. This policy does not extend to non Aurora sites that are linked to Aurora sites.

What information does Aurorar receive and how do we use it?
When you register with Aurora for Aurora services, we ask you for your name and contact information. This information lets us analyse our user base and communicate separately with you. We also use aggregated information about the use of our services to evaluate our users' preferences, improve our services, and facilitating third-party reporting of internet usage. We can sell this data on. We do not provide it publicly. When you request a page from the site's web server, the server automatically collects some information about your system, including your IP address and browser type. We collect the minimum information necessary to make the service work - this information is essential to send the pages back across the Internet to the right computer.

Other companies that place advertising on our site may collect information about you when you view or click on their advertising or content. Aurora does not control this collection of information. You will, at any time, be able to indicate if you do not wish to receive our information about forthcoming Aurora events by emailing admin@auroravoice.com or by visiting our Contact section or by clicking the appropriate box when submitting data. Users who have subscribed to our online Monthly Newsletter or Discussion Forum may unsubscribe by using the functions as stated in these documents. We do not intend to abuse the trust of our users by offending them with spam. We may contact you on behalf of some of our advertisers, but third parties will not contact you by using email addresses obtained from our user lists.

Registration
We will ask you to register in order to receive email newsletters, enter competitions, and receive services from Aurora. This will require you to provide personal information such as your name, email and web address, phone number, work address and job title. Once you register with Aurora, we will automatically notify you should there be a Aurora event we feel may be of interest to you.

May I choose what information I disclose?
We require certain information to register you as a unique user of our services. You never have to answer any questions you do not want to although this may limit what services we can offer you.

May I choose what communications I receive?
We send out a monthly invitation to the Aurora event to our users highlighting features of our services and providing relevant information. You can elect not to receive communications from us or from other parties, either when you register or by noting your preference in response to communications from us.

What if I need to review or change the personal information I previously disclosed?
We encourage Aurora users to update and edit their personal information and keep it current. You can easily correct or update your personal information at any time by emailing admin @ auroravoice.com or visiting our Contact section.

What kind of security is used to protect my information?
We store all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of access controls. This data is accessed only for the purposes specified in this privacy statement.

Who has access to my information?
We do not share personally identifiable data with other companies (apart from those acting as our agents in providing our services to you, who agree to use it only for that purpose).

What about children's information?
Persons under the age of 18 may not register for Aurora or use any Aurora services that require personally identifiable information.

How can I request the removal of my data as held by Aurora?
Please send in writing to data @ auroravoice.com a request for your data to be removed from our database upon a reply email will confirm receipt of this request. If you do not receive the confirmation of receipt email by 5 working days please re-email reply or call +44 (0) 845 260 7777. We take no responsibility for emails that do not reach our premises.
